Next Wednesday 27th September I have my new piece ‘Three After-Dinner Pieces’ premiering in Bristol in Colston Hall (1.05pm). Here is an article about the piece from BBC Music Mag, and above it a picture of Peter Moore (photo credit: Kaupo Kikkas). I am super excited about the piece and hope to be able to share it with you soon (tickets are available from: http://www.colstonhall.org/shows/petern-moore-richard-uttley).
This Saturday my new piece ‘Flutter’ will be performed at the Royal Festival Hall, London. The piece will be part of the concert performed by 350 children from 7 London primary schools. Tickets are free and can be booked on using the link below:
The concert starts at 17.00 and will be my first performance of a piece through the London Music Masters composition award for 2016/2107. I look forward to seeing you there! (photo credit copyright: Morley von Sternberg).
I am delighted to have been chosen as one of London Music Masters Composition Award holders for 2016-2017. Full details can be found here: http://www.londonmusicmasters.org/news-and-events/news-archive/london-music-masters-announces-new-award-holders/
Violinist Marc Bouchkov, composer Shiva Feshareki, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and myself will be looking forward to working with LMM and their upcoming projects over the next academic year. I have already been in discussion with their team about commissions for the forthcoming year and want to wish everyone a big congratulations! I’ll post further information about the project as it develops.
